Dr. Mazin Khattabi, M.B.B.Ch.
Dr. Mazen Khattabi is a medical resident in the Department of Surgery at Hamad General Hospital.
He did his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Al-Fateh in Libya from May 2005 to September 2005; he also worked as an intern here from August 2004 to September 2005.
Since 2008, he is working at the Department of Pathology at Ohio State University Medical Center, in Columbus, Ohio, USA, where he is involved in the planning and execution of experiments concerning tumor immunology, contributed to projects in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis, and worked with the animal model for multiple sclerosis.
Dr. Khattabi is skilled extensively in cell cultures, killer and proliferation assays, cell harvesting, in vivo proliferation, cell-tracking experiments, flow cytometry, cryostat, and PCR.
